HEAL 2017, the fourth edition of the two day national conference on Hospital and Healthcare Administration was inaugurated at Baby Memorial Hospital on 06 October 2017.

Dr Shakti Kumar Gupta, Medical Superintendent, AIIMS, New Delhi inaugurated the conference in the presence of Prof (Dr) Masood Ahmed, Director, Indo US Hospital, Hyderabad and Col (Dr) Saroj Patnaik, Directorate General Armed Force Medical Services, New Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Shakti Kumar highlighted the values a health care administrator should possess in today’s time to succeed in the field of Hospital administration.

Dr Vineeth Abraham, Director, BMH delivered the welcome address. Dr Soman Jacob, CEO of BMH gave the presidential address.

The conference brings together senior level experts from the healthcare industry of various states to share their knowledge, expertise and thoughts. It will focus on discussions pertaining to successful healthcare strategies, proven patient care techniques, quality standardization tips, new hospital management trends and road map to an effective healthcare system. The conference will thus bring comprehensive professional solutions that will help organizations increase productivity and improve the quality of products and services of the hospitals. Case studies, presentations and interactive discussions on the trends, challenges, latest developments, technologies and future of the industry will be important highlights of the conference.

Research Foundation of Hospital and Healthcare Administration (RFHHA), an initiative of Dept of Hospital Administration, AIIMS is the Knowledge Partner of this event.

Eminent stalwarts from renowned institutions like AIIMS – New Delhi, IIM, Ministry of Defense, AFMC - Pune, Indo US Hospital- Hyderabad, Sarvagnya Solutions, Innaccel, etc. will be delivering lectures on various interesting topics pertaining to hospital administration.

Highlight of the first day was a special presentation by internationally renowned stand-up comedian and Medical innovator, Dr. Jagdish Chaturvedi.

The event is the first of its kind in the corporate healthcare sector in India. The event conducted earlier in 2014, 2015 and 2016 were well appreciated by the delegates and speakers and were grand success.

With the successful completion of the fourth edition of HEAL 2017, the conference has entered the 'India Book of Records ' for conducting the national conference annually, consistently and consecutively for four years since 2014.
