Nutrition In A Critically Ill Geriatric Patient
Abstract
With the advancement in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, leading to a better life expectancy, we have a surge in the number of patients in the geriatric age seeking medical advise for acute and preexisting chronic conditions. When it comes to geriatric age, apart from pharmacotherapy, there is a need for an enhanced psychosocial, social and rehabilitative care.
